Excitement entices darkness
seducing shadows out to play.

An increase in anxious pulse,
a beat turned rapid fire.
Eyes blackened by dilated pupils,
a passion that never expires.

Tempted by unveiled instinct,
and sudden animalistic urges.
Volatile need arises,
light versus dark, emerges.

A battle of ethicality,
what’s morally right, or wrong.
Neck and neck until the end,
when darkness brings you home.
