On the wings of a Raven
My heart does ride
Sailing through darkened skies
Lost amid cumulonimbus

As rain falls in slant rivulets
Stinging my skin
A whimper slips from within
Breathing in an anguished past

Stronger, the rain does cascade
Like a waterfall of release
Embracing the pain, to be free
Crying out against this storm

Remove my tortured fears
Purify my being
A change in what I’ve been seeing
Makes me stronger than I was

My heart does heal
Upon the wings of a Raven
