The brown has dispersed
Leaving luscious green
Overpowering the death
Of which we all have seen
Draining life’s essence
From plants, and trees alike
Until barren, they’ve become
Wailing their loss at night
Alas, the time has come
Blessed be the rain
Praise the sun that shines
For healing with its rays
Chilled bones are warming
A melodious tune does play
Caressing all five senses
Bringing hope for better days

I enjoyed this poem, very much!
