COVID-19 #Rhyme #Unapologetic

I worry for the elderly,
the immunodeficient, too.
I fear for smaller children,
for this virus, we have no clue.

Similar to the flu,
the symptoms can be scary.
Worried with each cough,
a runny nose can make you wary.

Panic has been unearthed,
chaos has ensued.
School is out, jobs are closed,
pandemic has accrued.

Toilet paper is gone,
soap has disappeared.
Left, and right, supplies are less,
they’re taking water for a year.

Excessive, to say the least,
it seems a bit too much.
I get that folks are scared,
but a month’s worth, is enough.

Step back, and take a breath,
wash your hands, aplenty.
Cover your mouth, when you cough,
you’re leaving the shelves too empty.

😏 You won’t like it, here. It’s dark. 😏 😌I am unapologetically me. Embrace me, or, let me go. 😌

  1. People are in a panic and I do understand but the hoarding of food and toilet paper is crazy!
The shelves were mostly bare at the grocery stores we went to today.
    Take care of yourself!
Your poem was very well expressed!
