Winter’s Wonders #Rhyme #Unapologetic

Barren, dried out fields
Crisp, cold air
Sharp against heated skin
Wind is blowing hair

Loosened strands whip harshly
Against wind-burnt cheeks
Thin, and skinny, welts of red
Rise up, and timidly peek

Though my face is stinging
My eyes are open wide
Taking in, before me
A cerulean blue soaked sky

Breathless, I stare in wonder
In awe of Winter, so pure
Lost within a breeze of ice
Unable to resist its allure

😏 You won’t like it, here. It’s dark. 😏 😌I am unapologetically me. Embrace me, or, let me go. 😌

      1. You are welcome!
        BTW, I have a question.
        Is this Nikki?
I know I was following you and then un-followed but I did not meant to and then I forgot about your blog as I have not been writing much lately..
